Here is Lounge Table from GSIGN Studio, this lounge table is the result of an two hour workshop contest with Dick Spierenburg for furniture producer Castelijn. This piece of furniture connects the active side with the comfort side of the livingroom. The long diner table goes on as a lounge sofa. This ‘lounge table’ is the beginning of the sitting area. The white support cabinet is made out of ‘soft’ material and runs through the table by which it works as a pillow for the sofa. Unique design without compromising the function table itself. This is Mushroom Forest Table Series by Bay Area Designer Thomas Wold. This table design is inspired by mushroom that grows in the inland forests, available in two sizes : a three-top single-color side table/nightstand and a seven-top, multicolor coffee table. The mushroom caps function as flat table tops, each with different height and cap circumference. The “burl” base provides an extremely stable platform for the “growing” stems and caps.
