5th street house, one of The Brooklyn Home Company‘s projects, the 4 story townhouse in center Park Slope.

The house was renovated in interior and exterior, decoration, built-ins and custom work. The architects added nine foot extension to the garden and parlor floors. The library ladder leads to an extra lofted guest room. The original beams were discovered behind the drop ceiling during demolition.

The amazing sculpture by TBHCo designer/sculptor Fitzhugh Karol also added above the fireplace. Appear also extra large double hung windows flood the home with natural light.

1958 houses redone into a modern house in California

Situated in California this house is originally designed in 1958 by Romanian architect Haralamb Georgescu. The Pasinetti House redone by presenting a better ventilation by use glass and wooden add-ons but still keeping in line with the original design.

Penthouse renovation to get plenty of light – Copenhagen Penthouse II

It’s time to go to Copenhagen. Comes from NORM Architects this is penthouse project in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen.

Copenhagen Penthouse II is situated on the top of one the few high rise buildings in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen.

The architects have completely renovated the interior of this penthouse in a way tore down a substantial part of the concrete walls and cut all doors open to the ceilings, in order to create an open plan and increase the feeling of height.

The main goal of this renovation is to meet the client’s desire to obtain completely minimalistic space with no nonsense and plenty of light on the top of town.

The penthouse with contrasting black and white color also has stunning view overlooking the city.

The Kowalewski Residence was designed by Belmont Freeman Architects for a family with two small children. Located in outside of New York City with 3600 SF, designer used steel, with light-gauge metal framed floors and walls and energy-efficient EIS envelope.

For privacy, the street façade is nearly blank, while the principal rooms all open onto the garden to the south.
