Located in Sydney, Australia, this house was designed by Tony Owen Partners. Designed for a client who is a concrete contractor and built the house himself, the architects take maximum use of concrete and solid construction to this house. According to the architects, Because of the client’s heritage, the design was influenced by the materials and forms of Mediterranean Architecture. The curved shell forms reflect the sails of the fishing boats from the Greek Islands. In addition the client does a lot of entertaining and wanted a house which maximized the connection to a large outdoor space.

Designed by Jonathan Adler, this is 3,500 square foot Barbie’s Malibu dream house that was designed in honor of blonde’s 50th birthday. This house has an interior that is really beautiful, the details of accessories such as chandelier made of Barbie hair, a sunburst mirror made from 65 Barbie dolls and a closet filled with thousands of shoes are decorated perfectly. The master bedroom, the closet and some other things are made in bright pink color that has always been great association to the “client”. An in-house museum features 25 vintage Barbie dolls on display. Not forgetting a pink Volkswagen New Beetle with a motorized pop-up vanity in the trunk is usually parked in the garage. Everything about Barbie lifestyle can you have encountered in this house.

Located in Big Sur, California, Division Knoll Residence was designed by Sagan Piechota Architecture. Architect unify the elements in nature into a work of architecture, Daniel Piechota says “it’s not really about the architecture itself, but more about the architecture as a vessel for looking at the view,”-walls of glass, floors of stone, supports of concrete, a roof of copper designed to blend with the natural beauty.
