This exotic outdoor lamps is designed by designer Miguel Angel García Belmonte and made in Spain. Called “Sponge Lamp”, the basic shape of this lamp at a glance looks like sponges that we usually find in the river surface. At night, these lights look like a moon falling from the sky. Inspired by Heracleum Plant, this led lamp has beautiful shape, like a blooming flower, white leaves ramify from one branch creating a very technical and natural structure.
The designer Bertjan Pot used technique of coating conductive layers to created thin and delicate designs. Called Heracleum Lighting, this lamp was designed for Moooi.

Paddle lamp was designed inspired by movement of a canoe blade through water, it has many axis of functional movement. The designer, Benjamin Hubert designed this lamp for Italian lighting manufacturer Fabbian.

With many axis of functional movement, this lamp allows to maximum usability in a variety of working environments. The framework of the lamp is available in either ash timber or texture lacquered aluminum with the paddle head formed from pressed aluminum. Paddle lamp also equipped with high brightness led light source and capacitive touch control.

Simplicity of this lamp design created a strong character, it is Placa Lamp.
Designer Gonçalo Campos created the lamp simply placed on a wooden board. The lamp shades looks elegant on the wood board that serves as the main base. Like the designer say: besides creating a “stage” for placing other objects of interest, (effectively turning into a plinth) it provides room for the relationship between its elements to develop. Cool…
The switch is placed in a smart way, placed on the wooden board instead of in the cord, making it a part of the lamp, and not just an appendix.

I was really surprised when opened the e-mail this afternoon, the e-mail came from Italian designer Chiara Lampugnani. Designer with beautiful expertise, approach between art and design, sometimes use the language of dreams and a little surrealist to produce work that is really beautiful.
“Light Butterflies” by Chiara Lampugnani at LED FESTIVAL MILANO displayed in Paolo Sarpi Street and Canonica Street in Milano and which participate in the Milan International Led Light Festival (from 4 December 2010 – before was 11 – until 31 January 2011).
From the designer:
Inspired by the Butterflies Oasis based in Palestro Street in Milan, the light butterflies by Chiara Lampugnani are an homage to the beauty of Nature through the splendour and magic of light.
A message to the city of Milan which is always in a hurry so that it may stop and think about the simple things of life through the eyes of a child.

This is Lena light from German designer Christian Strauss. Made of aluminium round pipe, this leaning light has a finishing of liquid gum, resulting thereby a very pleasant haptics and matt black optics. Full description from the designer is after the jump.
